Tabling for the Animals
The Alliance for Animals has informational tables at public events throughout Madison, and we are always looking for AFA volunteers willing to table with us. If you’ve never tabled before, this is a perfect opportunity for you to help advocate for animals and spread the word about AFA.
AFA is in need of a Farmers' Market Tabling Coordinator this summer. If you are self-starting and would like to help coordinate Saturday volunteers, please contact Lynn Pauly. This volunteer would be responsible for recruiting Saturday market volunteers who man (and woman) our table from 9:00 a.m to noon. It's a fun way to meet people and become more involved wth AFA. Won't look bad on a resume either!
Events Committee Members
Alliance has several educational and fundraising events a year. We need your help! If you like to organize, plan parties, work with the media, be creative, or simply enjoy working behind the scenes, contact Lynn.
Pass out leaflets at colleges and concerts
This year we hope to inform young Madisonians about the cruelties of factory farming and the benefits of veganism at a variety of venues including local colleges, concerts, and festivals. AFA can provide you with free leaflets for distribution at any event you plan on attending.
Stock leaflets at restaurants and businesses
Drop off stacks of leaflets at restaurants, cafes, record shops, veterinary clinics, places of worship, and other venues that would attract potentially sympathetic individuals. This can be done by bicycle or car.
Join a campaign
Check out one of our campaigns and make a longer commitment to helping the animals.
These are just some of the many ways you can help Alliance for Animals. We are involved in so many exciting things right now, and we would love for you to join us! We even have ways you can help from home if your schedule is busy.
