HOW YOU CAN HELP MADISON geese

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP THE GEESE IN MADISON, HERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS:
The City of Madison uses taxpayer money for lethal goose removal in the park system. We are asking the City to fully embrace humane, nonlethal goose management practices instead.

While some nonlethal methods have expanded over the years, lethal removal remains part of a management plan that is now more than a decade old. The geese were not killed in 2022, but lethal removal has continued since then and remains an option for this year.

Please respectfully contact the Madison Parks Department and ask them not to kill the geese this year.
